• Big differences between the information available in CT and planar x-ray images!

• X-ray skull ~ 0.03 mSv

• X-ray chest ~ 0.02 mSv

• X-ray abdo ~ 0.7 mSv

• X-ray pelvis ~ 0.7 mSv

• CT head ~ 2 mSv

• CT chest ~ 8 mSv

• CT abdo ~ 10 mSv

• CT pelvis ~ 10 mSv
