CT no accuracy

• Standard CT scale: -1000 to 4000 HU

• For patients with metal prostheses useful to have extended CT scale as some metals have CT no > 4000

• Extended CT scale: up to 40,000

• This enables attenuation due to prosthesis to be correctly accounted for
