The measurements for all the multi-slice scanners are plotted here. For the Mx8000 and the Volume Zoom, we see on the whole only small variations in FWHM over the range of pitches. As predicted for the filter interpolation method, there is no overall upward trend in FWHM for either of these scanners, the average value being around 30% greater than the axial FWHM.
On the LightSpeed, however, the FWHM is 27% higher at pitch 1.5 than at 0.75, contrasting with the 18% fall in noise that we saw in the previous slide.
