What is not tested ?

• image quality
  • low contrast detectability
    • depends on noise
    • a subjective test with wide variations in results

• dose
  • phantom ctdi
    • in air ctdi can tell you almost everything
    • only thing it doesn’t tell is if the beam shape filter has changed (can measure CTDI in air off-axis)
  • do phantom at acceptance, and at major changes
