Continued:
- Angiography: fast scanning gives best use of contrast. Good z-axis resolution allows imaging of narrow vessels
- 3D imaging: large numbers of narrow slices can provide high quality volume rendering
- Trauma: larger single scan volumes in a single scan
- Paediatric: faster imaging requires less sedation
- Colonoscopy: near isotropic resolution allows viewing of colon in all directions equally
