The CereTom is a compact, portable, battery and mains powered multi-slice CT scanner designed for scanning anatomy that can be imaged in the 25 cm field of view, primarily the head and neck It can be used in support of neurological critical care, minimising movement of critically ill patients, and in operating theatres, where it may be used to provide a rapid check on surgical outcomes. Currently, the CereTom is the only such system on the UK market.
