The IGE HiSpeed FX/i is a third generation spiral CT scanner. It has a 3.5 MHU x-ray tube, which is used clinically at 80, 120 or 140 kV, and six slice thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm. This report examines the imaging and dosimetric performance of the FX/i, providing a wide range of information on all aspects of its performance. The imaging and dosimetry results, which indicate high quality imaging capabilities, are comparable to other top-range single slice scanners. pdf file versions of reports published since 2002 can be downloaded from the CT scanner section of the CEP web site. Electronic reports published earlier than this are available to UK NHSnet users only, from the NHSNet evaluation web site. Direct links to each pdf are provided on the report summary pages on the ImPACT web site. The pdf files can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.

ImPACT's reports are published by the Centre for Evidence-based Purchasing at the NHS PASA: please address all enquiries to them. State the number, title and quantity of each report required. Reports will be dispatched by second class post the next working day. You will be contacted within 48 hours if the reports are not in stock . There is no charge for reports supplied to NHS customers.
