The report compares the specifications of the following 16-slice CT scanners: GE LightSpeed 16 and Pro 16, Philips Brilliance CT 16 and CT 16 Power, Siemens Emotion 16, Siemens Sensation 16, Toshiba Aquilion 16 and 16 CFX. Performance data measured by ImPACT is presented for the GE LightSpeed 16 and Pro 16, Siemens Sensation 16, and Toshiba Aquilion 16. Results from the Philips Mx8000 IDT 16 are included, which we show to be equivalent to the Brilliance CT 16.
